Macromia berlandi (Angle-winged cruiser)
Habitat: larvae found on substrate of muddy sand in pools of slow flowing streams
General appearance: body relatively large sized, probably up to 25mm long; head with frontal horn inconspicuous, eyes protruding backward, postero-lateral tuberacles prominent; labium scoop-shaped, prementum wider than long; having spidery legs, femora with dark markings; abdomen spindle-shaped with some cloud-like markings; dorsal spines on abdominal segments III - IX (but III not shown in early stage) and lateral spines on segments VIII - IX
