Rhodothemis rufa (Ruby darter)
Habitat: larvae found in ponds and marshes
General appearance:body relatively small sized, about 10mm long; head wide, bulbous eyes protruding anterolaterally, antennal scapes white and tip black; legs with some markings and tarsal segments darken; abdomen round shaped with pale midline and small pale dots in two rows (5 on outer row & 3 on inner row) on each side, lateral spines on abdominal segments VIII - IX, but without dorsal spine
