Lamelligomphus hainanensis (Hainan hooktail)
Habitat: larvae associated with coarse sands and gravels in streams
General appearance: body relatively medium sized, probably up to 18mm long; plate-like antennae with knob-like tubercules on anterio-lateral edge (similar to Ophiogomphus sinicus); droplet-shaped abdomen fringed with tufts of setae, pair of median spots on dorsum III - VIII; dorsal spines on abdominal segments II - IX (weakly seen in early instar stages) and lateral spines on segments VII - IX
