General appearance of this sighting record: body robust, its length about 60mm long; head rectangular with a pair of small bead-like eyes at anterolateral corner of head, antennae filiform (cf. enlarged specialized antennae in Gomphids); wing pads reaching abdominal segment IV, probably in late larval stage; abdomen in spindle shape with a clear, pale medial stripe along abdomen
