General appearance
Body size medium up to 5 mm long (excluding antennae & cerci)
Body light yellow to yellowish brown with diffuse black markings with three caudal filaments
Head
In early stage, head more square-like shaped
& two patches of brown setae shown clearly
Abdomen
* Gills II - VII ovate with fringed margin
Abdominal terga with postero-lateral projection
Distribution:
In Hong Kong, specimens are recorded in Tai Po Kau Forest Stream, Chuen Lung, Lam Tsuen River and Bride's Pool (Tai Po).
