General appearance: body long, cylindrical (abdomen coiled in this specimen); head subquadrate with V-shaped frontal lines fused at base of head capsule & coronal line short or unnoticeable; antennae biramal, terminal antennomere with a fingerlike appendage; mandibles strongly asymmetrical with serrated inner edge (left mandible with one inner tooth, right mandible with two inner teeth); labium well developed, ligula distinct; clypeolabrum (nasale) serrate on anterior edge, but without distinct tooth; ventral surface of abdomen with spinose prolegs (spines stout & curved in this specimen).
