General appearance: Small species. Body broadly oval and rounded, strongly convex, almost semiglobular. Antennae 8-segmented with long scape, and the last segment abruptly narrowed subapically which appears to carry a small accessory segment at the apex. Prosternum very short. Elytra with a sutural stria at the posterior half.
