Introduction

This book is about the environmental challenges facing Hong Kong. It is intended for teachers in secondary schools who wish to impart to their students the importance of environmental consciousness, with the aim of enabling them to make better decisions in the future that will, in turn, impact the environment in a positive manner. The book provides up-to-date information regarding environmental concerns in Hong Kong and encourages students to think about these concerns using activities that promote critical thinking.
